How weCHANGE Started?
weCHANGE was Initiated in 2014 by a duo of engineers and visionaries, weCHANGE has quickly emerged as one of the significant non-governmental organizations that are committed to the ideals of education , health, and welfare for all humanity. Concerned with growing disparities , children working at a young age and unsupported health culture.
The founding members envisioned an organization that would enable people to work in partnership and weave a selfless social cloth establishing equality and upgrading their overall conditions. The President – Shridhar Lokanathan has worked and supported other NGOs and causes. An experience he fondly talks about is his time he worked for SORT – Social Responsibility Team during his college years. After learning the reigns, Secretary – Sampada Inarkar and President-Shridhar Lokanathan embarked on this journey. They came together on the14th December 2014 to turn a new leaf and start weCHANGE NGO based on their social values and ideologies.
9th February 2016 marks the official registration of their goals and dreams with weCHANGE NGO.
